Our story
After twelve years as an auditor at a bank, I thought I had the secure path figured out. But when my husband Andrew and I wanted to buy a second property, we hit a wall — no down payment cash in the bank. That's when we attended a short-term rental conference in Montana in October 2024, where Pace Morby was speaking. We looked at each other and said, "We can do this." And we did.
We started with our own house — renting the downstairs apartment on Furnished Finder, then parking an RV on the side and listing it on Airbnb. Both took off. We joined SubTo in February 2025 — and later the Owners Club — and went all in on creative finance. At first we tried to go it alone and didn't get much traction. Then someone took us under his wing and taught us most of what he knows. We'll always be grateful for that, and we want to do the same for other people.
Twelve years in auditing — operations, compliance, risk — taught me how to build systems that are repeatable and actually scale. That's the discipline we bring to every deal and every person we train.
